Look up tired in the dictionary...

Trying to keep up appearances after loosing 6 hours of my life.

Jet lag

Left Sweden at 2pm, flew for about 9 hours and landed in Thailand at about 5am local time meaning we "lost" 6 hours of our life, and god did we feel it. We managed to power through though, the first day seen through a haze. The big time difference means you more or less have to turn the day into night and if you don't shift it fast you will feel the jet lag for days.
In our first day in Thailand we have learnt that travel and food is cheap but the shopping is at the same price level as back home. We have also learnt that Thai people are very helpful and polite, people will actually come up to you and ask if you need help with buying the train ticket, or finding your hotel, you don't even have to ask.

35 degrees Celsius isn't that bad either when everything is air conditioned, I myself find above 28 uncomfortable back home but don't mind the heat here (yet).

So, since the first day can't really be counted due to jet lag today will be our first proper day in Bangkok.
Soon we'll head down to breakfast and then we will switch hotels, I realized that a pool would be nice even when spending time in the big city so we have to haul our bags once more.
Hopefully we will have some time to check out some of the markets and see a bit if the city. More to come...
