Anxiety

A warm winter is probably great for the person saving tons on heating bills but for me this is a disaster. The ground is water sick, the stream on the verge of overflowing. This means I have to turn my horses out in fields of mud and I have a feeling that its almost worse for me than them. Changing fields helps for one day, and then you face the prospect of no grazing during the summer. Making the fields "waterproof" would cost around 100000SEK and that is sadly not an option on a teachers wages.

So I just have to face the storm and the rain, apologise to my horses and keep trudging through the mud, one step forward, half a step back. Believe you me, it makes me miserable in every possible way.
